Tempe / Tahu Kecap - Tempeh / Tofu on Sweet Soy Sauce
  • tempeh and tofu, cut into small rectangular pieces
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 shallot and chili, to taste (all blended or thinly sliced)
  • 1 tomato
  • salt
  • sugar
  • sweet soy sauce
  • a splash of worcestershire sauce (optional)

  1. Fry the tempeh and tofu until half-dry (partially cooked and slightly crisp).
  2. Sauté all the seasoning ingredients until fragrant.
  3. Add the fried tempeh and tofu, then pour in sweet soy sauce, salt, and sugar.
  4. Stir until everything is evenly coated and heated through.
