Spicy Curry Fish with Ginger Spinach
1.5 lbs of cod
¼ cup olive oil
2 tablespoons yogurt
2 tablespoons garam masala
1 teaspoon kashmiri chile powder
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon grated garlic
1 teaspoon coriander
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
1 pound of baby spinach
2 teaspoons grated ginger
salt + pepper

  1. Marinate the fish in curry powder, salt, and pepper for at least an hour. If short of time, 15 minutes will do. 
  2. Beat an egg and mix well with the chicken pieces. 
  3. Heat enough oil in a pan or wok for frying.
  4. Coat the fish pieces in flour and fry till golden brown. Keep aside.
  5. Combine all ingredients above and let marinate for 15 minutes. 
  6. Sauté in a hot pan with oil until cooked and crispy. 
  7. Remove from the pan.
  8. Sauté spinach in the same pan with ginger and salt, and pepper. 
  9. Put on the serving plate and place the fish on top. 
  10. Serve with rice and enjoy!
