Perkedel Kentang - Potato Patties
  • Potatoes, peeled, boiled until tender, and mashed like mashed potatoes 
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 250g minced or ground meat
  • 3 stalks scallions, finely sliced
  • ¼ onion, finely chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • breadcrumbs

  1. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened. Add the minced meat and stir well.
  2. Then add scallions, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  3. Mix this cooked mixture with the mashed potatoes. Taste again, and adjust the salt and pepper if needed.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls or desired shapes.
  5. Roll in beaten egg, coat with breadcrumbs, and fry until golden.
