Dadar Jagung - Corn Fritters
  • 3 ears of corn, kernels shaved off
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • chopped scallions
  • basil leaves for mixing and flavoring
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 shallot
  • chili
  • ground coriander
  • salt
  • sugar
  • kaffir lime leaves (optional)

  1. Blend the spices and corn – do not blend the corn too finely (blend the spices first until smooth, then add the corn).
  2. Mix the corn mixture with the spices, chopped scallions, flour, salt, sugar, egg, and basil leaves.
  3. Fry until golden.
